I am a PhD-trained biotechnologist and postdoctoral scientist with a background in Molecular Medicine, currently working in neuroscience research at Ospedale San Raffaele in Milan.
My work focuses on iPSC-based disease modeling, RNA biology and neurodevelopmental disorders, with experience in human iPSC-derived neuronal models, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Rett Syndrome and tauopathy-related research. I am particularly interested in how advanced in vitro models can help investigate disease mechanisms and support the development of future therapeutic strategies.
During my PhD, I independently managed a research project on Prader-Willi Syndrome, focusing on the role of the non-coding RNA SNORD116 using human iPSC-derived neurons. This experience allowed me to work across the full research process: literature analysis, hypothesis generation, experimental design, protocol optimization, data interpretation and scientific discussion.
My core technical expertise includes iPSC culture and neuronal differentiation, RNA Immunoprecipitation, RNA extraction, qRT-PCR, molecular cloning, blotting techniques and imaging-based assays. I also value scientific communication and enjoy presenting data, discussing research questions and translating complex findings into clear scientific narratives.
I am now exploring opportunities in R&D, translational research and biotech/pharma environments, particularly in Europe, Switzerland and the Nordic life science ecosystem. I am also interested in future paths at the interface between science, clinical evidence and medical communication, including Medical Affairs / MSL-related roles.

This experience taught me that research is not only about applying protocols, but also about learning how to move through uncertainty: reading the literature critically, designing experiments, interpreting complex data and building hypotheses when the path is not already defined.
